Procrastinating

Here are all the things I SHOULD be doing right now:

1. Cleaning my kitchen
2. Mopping the floors
3. Vacuuming
4. Cleaning the bathroom
5. Doing the laundry
6. Paying the bills
7. Painting the hallway
8. Grocery Shopping
9. Cleaning out the fridge
10. Calling my insurance company
11. Calling my home warranty company
12. Mailing my tax refund information
13. Writing thank you notes
14. Reconciling my bank account
15. Returning my library books... and the list goes on...

SERIOUSLY, does any one else's to do list look like this?

When did my life become so incredibly exciting??? Some days I hate being a grown-up.

Well, I'm not going to do any of it right now. Ha Ha. It's only eleven-o-clock but I think I'll take my lunch break...

I hear ya loud and clear!! My to do list is miles longer than what I actually get done each day. There are some days that I work hard to get things done and feel good about checking them off my list, other days I take a break here and there, spend time playing with my boys, do thing I WANT to do and sometimes I just practice the art of procrastination for a bit. : )

I seriously think that it is soooo good to take a break from our to-do lists now and again...I mean after we are no longer on this earth who cares about the mile long list of chores we didn't get done...but our kids and family WILL remember the time we spent with them...right? I think it is a mom thing that it is so hard for me anyway to be able to relax when I know I've got a million things to do, what I'm trying to say Leah through all of my rambling that is not making any sense at all, is that I can totally relate..and I'm guessing a lot of mom's can, hey at least we have each other and people that understand how we feel :) Besides you guys have had a hard couple of weeks at your house with sickness...so taking a break from your list is well deserved (not that you need my permission :) ) Speaking of procrastinating, I still have about 40 more cute pic's of you guys that I need to get to you....sorry :( This week...I promise! Love you guys! ~Your crazy in a rambling mood sis-in-law!

Leah, you're so cute! I'm sure your house looks great! But my list for sure looks like that...even if I actually do that stuff, about an hour later I have to put it back on the list! I think once we have kids, we should automatically get a maid...maybe one for each kid, just so we can try and stay on top of things! Good luck with everything...and try not to get overwhelmed. Just think...it will get done eventually!!!

k, seriously?? I feel the same way EVERY DAY! At least you are more organized than me to actually make out your list.. I just try to remember in my head the things I need to do.. then half of them never get done! :-) And the other half of the time, i'm too tired to finish the things I started! :-)

i'm totally with ya on this one! At least you are better than me to actually put your list down on paper.. I try to remember mine in my head and half the time I forget most of the things I need to do. (blame it on the pregnancy) The other half of the time, i'm too tired to finish the things I started!
