Garrit and I tried to celebrate our real anniversary back in December. We went to the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake but ended up staying there for only three hours. Long story. Needless to say, we didn't get the R&R we hoped for that night.
Last Friday my AMAZING husband surprised me with an "un-anniversary" date night. Emily watched Drew (Thanks, Em!) and Garrit took me to eat at The Garden, and then we saw the Joseph Smith movie (not terribly romantic... but still cool), and then we stayed the night at the Inn. It was a blast. Everyone should go there at least once.
Anyway, so thanks babe. You're awesome. It's been a fabulous 3 1/2 years. Happy un-anniversary!

Good work Garrit on the date!! Also your home looks awesome!
Oh, that's so sweet of Garrit! Aren't surprises the best?! I'm glad you guys got to go, especially because of what happened last time. You deserved the night out!
That is so cute that he did that.
OK... so I made those cookies you posted the recipe for. I have to say that I remain a fan of Toll House cookies. These are good but are almost too soft and too much like shortbread for me, with all the butter in it and whatnot. Thanks for sharing though, it's always fun to try new things.
How fun! I am glad you guys got a night to yourself! You definately needs those! Happy late anniversay!
So, are you on another cool "un-anniversary" get-away right now? I heard through the grapevine that you're hanging at your FD Uncle C and FD Aunt D's Tahoe house? Nice! One of these days we'd like to check out that house too! Hope you're having fun! : )
