In 29 days, Garrit will have his Master's degree.
I can't decide if I am more excited or scared for him to graduate.
We know he'll get a job but we still don't know where... or when... or how much he'll make... or what hours he'll be working.
He's so smart and talented and likable. He'll get something good.
I just hope he doesn't have to be gone 60 hours a week. Because between work and school those are his hours... and I HATE it.
Sometimes, when Drew and I miss him, we turn on sports radio. And then we feel like he's home again.

good luck! I totally hear you. It is hard not seeing your husband. I am totally ready for James to retire.
Wow--congratulations, almost! Hmm, maybe he should work in Fallon!
Yay for Garrit! I can't wait for the moment when I can say the same thing. I wish him the best, and I wish you can get him back for decent amounts of time at home.
Yay! That's awesome! Maybe it'll be Spanish Fork!
It's the realm of the final inch! Hooray for being almost done! And we're praying for you that you'll get an awesome job in an awesome location with awesome hours. Can you get anymore awesome than that? ;)
Congratulations to Garrit! I have to say though, that many hours of work even at mediocre pay are better than no work. I am, married to a med student, and not likely to see much of him or take any vacations or much pay until after residency... in 5 years... In short, you just do what you gotta do. But if you get the choice, yes, good hours and pay are great! And I hope you do get options!
*fingers crossed*
Please please please find something in California so that you can be warm & we can hang out with the kids & do stuff! It would be nice for your parents & G'ma Mathews too.... What ever happens I'm sure it'll be great! Sorry I missed you guys, I had the nasty flu & didn't want to share it with anyone so I was laying low...
