My 17 Year Old Boyfriend

Tonight Garrit and I watched American Idol together. When David Archuleta finished singing Garrit said, "I wish you would look at me like that".

But, seriously, isn't that kid amazing?

And he is so stinkin' cute! I want to smoosh his cheeks.

You're Not a Real Parent Until...

You stay home every day with a wild toddler who rarely sleeps through the night, rarely naps, and who is starting to throw some serious tantrums!

The funny thing about Drew is ever since he was born he's had this funny sixth sense... Just when I begin to doze off he wakes up! HOW DOES HE KNOW??? I don't know. It's so weird. And so annoying. Today I put him down for his nap and then tried to take a nap myself. He only slept for twenty minutes! I thought maybe I could at least get like five minutes of shut-eye. Nope. Not a wink.

Now he's up tearing apart the house.

So all you celebrity parents out there, and all you rich folk who hire nannies to watch your kids... I'm sorry but you're ALL wanna-bes.

Vote For Drew!

Okay, I know, I know. My chances are very slim. There are now 15,000 other entries! Just vote for him, please!

The first prize winner is hand-picked by the company but the runner up is picked from the top 100 babies. So, let's get Drew in the top 100! If we win, Garrit gets $1000 for grad school!

How to vote:

Go to http://www.brickfish.com/Lifestyles/Baby-Photo-Challenge?tab=1

At the top right of the page you can change the view to "newly popular".

Then click on the bottom of the page to view 200 babies at once. Drew is on the second page (so he is in the top 400). Look for this picture:

Find him and vote. (You don't have to sign up for anything, just vote as a guest.) You can vote once a day.

And now I'd better get to bed before I find more ridiculous contests to enter!

Thanks for voting!

Goodnight.

Procrastinating

Here are all the things I SHOULD be doing right now:

1. Cleaning my kitchen
2. Mopping the floors
3. Vacuuming
4. Cleaning the bathroom
5. Doing the laundry
6. Paying the bills
7. Painting the hallway
8. Grocery Shopping
9. Cleaning out the fridge
10. Calling my insurance company
11. Calling my home warranty company
12. Mailing my tax refund information
13. Writing thank you notes
14. Reconciling my bank account
15. Returning my library books... and the list goes on...

SERIOUSLY, does any one else's to do list look like this?

When did my life become so incredibly exciting??? Some days I hate being a grown-up.

Well, I'm not going to do any of it right now. Ha Ha. It's only eleven-o-clock but I think I'll take my lunch break...
