So cute!

Here's another update from Rylie's care page:

Monday night Rylie was getting a little tired of the hospital menu, so I ran to PF Changs and got her some honey chicken...she loves that stuff! She started eating and Randy and I ran downstairs to get our dinner, when we came upstairs Rylie said, "Guess what my fortune cookie said!?!?!" in a very excited voice. We said,"What?". "It said "Happiness is around the corner!" So Rylie is thinking she's going to get out of here soon! I hope so :) The draining fluid from her belly has completely stopped, so now we are just waiting on the chest tube to stop draining and we should be good to go! We had a 2 hour discharge training today just to train us on life after transplant...there is a lot of info! The first while is pretty overwhelming with med's and dr. visits and protecting her because of her low immune system, but it sounds like as they gradually decrease her anti-rejection medication that life gets a little more "normal"! Rylie looks absolutly beautiful, every day she continues to get stronger and healthier. It is amazing to see her progress...and to think that she really does have a brand new healthy liver in her....and it's working..wow! And all of this we owe so much appreciation and gratitude to a family that said "yes" to organ donation....how do you even begin to thank someone for a gift like that....the gift of "life"~ We don't know anything about the donor or their family yet, but we will be able to write them a letter and then they have the choice if they would like to write back. Our hearts are so full of love and thanks to the wonderful person and their family for giving Rylie this gift! Also our hearts are overflowing with gratitude to each of you who continue to pray for our little girl....I can't begin to tell you how much it has helped us and her, thank you so much! I think Rylie's fortune is right, I think she will feel better and have so much more energy than she ever has, be able to do things she hasn't been able to before her transplant, and live a long wonderful life...happiness is definately right around the corner! :) Love ya'll!
